Tams gives this one 5 Stars...
All the characters you came to love in the first four books are back for an epic conclusion to this powerful story. I will say the story is a little slow to start but rich with dialogue, sarcastic and witty banter carried over from the original books to keep things interesting. The story also picks up just a few weeks after the events in Tiger's Destiny. If you're like me, you may have to go back and at least skim the first four books since it's been six years. In doing that, I found myself transported back to to beginning and reminded just how much I loved Kishan, the bad boy with a heart, as it turns out.
Finally, we get a book from Kishan's POV. I have been a fan of this series from the start, captivated and entranced by this fantasy world Houck created. The writing is stellar, crisp descriptives of scenery and the world the Author has built transport you into the story. Three dimensional, flawed characters give the story life.
