A Phantom Fixers Story
With love and ghosts, the challenge is figuring out what's real.
Software engineer Cruz Guthrie needs money for his sister's cancer treatments. He needs it so badly, he's willing to stand in for a ghost hunter friend and investigate a millionaire's supposed specters. It should be an easy gig - after all, nobody thinks the haunting is real.
Neurological researcher Brody Weber is furious that Cruz would take advantage of Brody's father. But his mind changes when spirits manifest - and he realizes Cruz genuinely wants to help. When they learn the paranormal activity centers on Brody, Cruz is willing to fight to free Brody from the entities determined to make his life miserable. With a little help from friends and family - both living and dead - they must figure out why Brody is attracting spirits and how to banish them. Only then can they pursue a future together.

A Charlatan's Conquest is a fast-paced, fun story. I found it a breath of fresh air.
A Charlatan's Conquest is a fast-paced, fun story. I found it a breath of fresh air.
Attiene has asked his friend Cruz to step in for him on a ghost cleansing. He knows there are no ghosts there and made it clear to the client he felt this way. Loren is adamant there are ghosts so Attiene throws a large sum thinking Loren will back down but he doesn't. in the meantime Attienne is injured so he offers Cruz the job knowing he needs the money for family issues.
Brody, Loren's son, comes in when he hears the news that his dad has hired a ghost hunter. as they get to know each other he begins to trust Cruz, especially when a twist occurs and we find out more about the haunting. Though there are ghosts the story is still light, fun and sexy.
Love doesn't care about gender. The one word that best describes Vivien? Geek. Book geek. Theater geek. Movie geek. All she needs is a story to get lost in. The rest takes care of itself. It all began in Michigan where living in the middle of nowhere forced Vivien to escape to stories and her imagination. High school introduced her to the joys of performing, while college expanded those horizons to include filmmaking. When she met her geek soulmate, a British expat who encouraged her to dream, she spent two years rediscovering the world before he whisked her away to the UK to get married. It was there, as they started their family, that Vivien turned to writing again. She hasn't stopped since. In 2006, Vivien teamed up with fellow erotic romance writer, Pepper Espinoza. Together, they wrote as Jamie Craig for five years. Vivien currently resides in northern California with her husband and two children.
Thanks for the good review, Cat. Sounds like a good ghost story. - Purple Reader,
