Harry has no illusions about himself. He looks in the mirror and sees a fat, ugly bloke who’s gone stale at the age of thirty-five. He wasn’t always like this–in his early twenties, he was into clubbing, dating, just like any other gay guy in London–but since he moved in to look after his mum, and her subsequent death, he’s let himself go. Besides, there’s no one to make an effort for, so why bother, right?
Then a construction site worker starts whistling at him every morning on his way to the office…
Tony thinks Harry is one of the sexiest bears he’s ever seen. But when he finally gets to talk to Harry, Tony soon realizes that getting to know him is going to take some effort. Not that the prospect puts him off‒Tony loves a challenge, and he’s not about to give up on Harry.
Two ordinary, mature men. Real life. Real-life situations. And love....

If you like sweet and spicy you will love this story. Denim is about a sexy denim-clad builder and a sweet recruitment worker.
Harry is a good boss at the recruitment office.all his employees like and respect him. He is sad and lonely after his mother's death, living alone in the old house she left him. He doesn't go out because at 35, a little overweight and no longer the fit man he was in his twenties he thinks he is undesirable.
Tony is Harry's opposite. He is strong, fit and confident and goes out of his way to get what he wants and that includes Harry. He whistles at first but Harry thinks it is for his female co=worker Deb, until one evening at the pub Tony introduces himself and asks him out. Harry doesn't make it easy though and when he realizes Tony likes him he takes drastic measure to look better.
Wow oh wow this story was so good! I loved both Tony and Harry and there were lots of interesting secondary characters as well. Though the story is fairly predictable it is still amazing. I couldn't put it down once I started. The characters are sweet and adorable and the sex is very hot! The story is also very realistic and relatable.
If you are looking for a fun, flirty story, that is sweet and spicy, has lots of feels, charming English dialogue, and settings, A sexy builder, a sweet bear and toss in a cute kitten for good measure you will love this!
K.C. Wells started writing in 2012, although the idea of writing a novel had been in her head since she was a child. But after reading that first gay romance in 2009, she was hooked.
She now writes full time, and the line of men in her head, clamouring to tell their story, is getting longer and longer. If the frequent visits by plot bunnies are anything to go by, that’s not about to change anytime soon.
K.C. loves to hear from readers.
