If you, like me, used Networked Blogs for your site you should really check out Symphony. It's quite similar and easy to navigate and cross post your blog content to Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin.
I was not prepared for the shut down of NB, only learning of the closure when I noticed my posts stopped auto posting to Facebook and Twitter. I researched several options and played with the features for each and felt like Symphony was the easiest to navigate and link all my social media pages so that my posts can continue to be seen on my pages.
So, pros and cons...
Pros... I love that I can link ALL of my Facebook pages and groups to my dashboard through symphonytools.com and set the time for the post to share to my pages. Symphony takes this one step further by allowing me to stagger the times that the posts share if you have multiple posts for one day. The features included with your Symphony subscription are easy to navigate and allow me more control over my posts.
Home page... Your home page lists your Queued posts. This ties into the staggering times for your content to post to your social media pages. You can access your Que settings from this tab making it easy to go in and change your times as well.
Syndication... This tab lists the various pages you have synced between that social media page and Symphony. You can access your syndication settings and add or remove pages from this tab.
Social profiles... Self explanatory, this tab shows you the pages you have synced to Symphony.
Inbox... You can scroll through comments on your pages and posts as well as mentions on your pages. This means that if someone mentions one of my pages in a facebook or twitter post, it will show me those comments from this tab.
Publishing and queued posts go hand in hand and you can access the same functions through both tabs.
Cons... I'm not thrilled with the daily email that one of my posts couldn't publish for a variety of reasons. And yet, when I go to facebook and twitter, the post did actually go live and Symphony did crosspost for me.
Publishing history... If you set your content to auto post it won't show in your Publishing history. You have to use the crosspost button (top right corner on any page) for the post to show in your history.
There are free goodies offered by Symphonytools.com that I haven't utilized yet so I can't speak to whether or not each would be a pro or a con... Sharing Widgets and Chrome Extension. Sharing Widgets is a small badge that goes into your website's side bar and enables the features you select below. Translated, for those that use blogger this would be the sidebar where you can post new releases and Amazon Associates posts. Symphony Chrome Extension allows you to share your content from anywhere using Google. Seems promising, I'll likely set these two options up at some point because they look to be easy to work with and would create a larger audience for my posts content.
Over all I am very pleased with Symphony and the ease of setting up my account and using it daily to maintain my social media content. I highly recommend this site and you can get a free trial to see if the functionality of the site would work for you and your needs before you commit.
