This book has a little bit of everything in it. Murder, intrigue, Attorneys that are leaches working on an Innocence Project case, twisting and turning, plots and planning. I'm telling you, I was wrapped up in this story right from the start. As a HUGE fan of shows like Law & Order and Blue Bloods, as well as true crime dramas, this book could be the script for any one of the afore mentioned. The writing style was crisp and detailed, the characters perfectly flawed and intense.

I really enjoyed the Author's attention to even the most minuscule detail. I was so engrossed in this story from start to finish and could not put it down. There are two storylines woven together throughout the book and while both we very well told and do meet in the end, the Nuzio family really stole the show for me. The raw realty of what they went trough tugged at my heart strings.

This is apparently the third book in a series that I've not read, but I didn't feel lost. I think judging by some things in the content of the story, the Author was relaying information from the previous stories, so I really got a good look at the big picture of the series. Fast paced, well written and consuming, this really is an amazing read.
