The Spear that pierced Christ’s side on the Cross has played a secret, but major role in history. Charlemagne, Constantine, Otto the Barbarian, The Knights Templar and Adolf Hitler all owned it... and believed it gave them the power to rule the world.
What if they were right?
The first time Dr. Cait Monahan ever heard of the Spear of Longinus was the night her husband was murdered because of it. That was when the terror began.
…right before the U.S. Government, the CIA, Neo Nazis, the Vatican and a secret cabal of 13 powerful global manipulators sent their assassins after her and her 9 year old.
...just before a lethal secret propelled her across Europe following a riddle that hadn’t been solved since the Holocaust.
…just before Cait Monahan became entrapped in an interdimensional labyrinth that her own husband may have helped design.
Now she’s a player in a game that has led to mystery, magic, mayhem and murder for over 2000 years, and only the help of a tribunal of long dead men may be able to save her.
Vibrant and cerebral, filled with intrigue, Conspiracy Theory and more ancient secrets than the Dead Sea Scrolls, Lark’s Labyrinth pits characters you’ll care about against a mystery you’ll want to solve.
Inside Lark’s Labyrinth is a secret men have killed for …now a woman, her sister, her child and their small band of friends are all that stand between us and the dark, insidious power that’s a hairsbreadth away from ruling the world.

What have been your favorite reads of 2020 so far and why?
I’m crazy about the Discovery of Witches series and looking forward to more. Ditto about the Angelology books. I’m in love with magic and fantasy interwoven with real life stories and love stories… I want to write more stories of this kind and read more of them.
LARK’S LABYRINTH BY CATHY CASH SPELLMAN EXCERPT
After Being Tortured Cait Vows to Find Lark and Vengeance
Cait blinked back the tears that clouded her vision, and nearly fell as she was pushed out of the basement, into the icy night. Her limbs were still from being bound, her jaw and head were on fire, her hands and legs prickly with the pins and needles of forced inertia. Or maybe it was just the bitter cold, that hit her like an ice blanket as she stood in the dark and tried to get her bearings. I will not pass out, she ordered her body. I will concentrate on breathing. I will make my heart stop pounding. I will think clearly… I will find Lark… I will kill the bastard.
She didn’t even feel fear anymore. Just fury. Intense, white-hot, suppurating, absolutely uncontainable rage.
She had to focus it… had to use it to fuel her plan.
Cait bent over from the waist, forcing her breathing to quiet, forcing her heartbeat to stop trying to burst through her chest wall. Forcing every ounce of strength and courage she had left into every cell of her body. Then she stood up, willed herself to her full height, and in the whispered hiss of a voice she’d never heard before… a voice that emanated from somewhere in the depths of her soul… she spoke her intent into the frigid night.
“I am coming for you, Gruner. I am going to end you! As God is my witness, I AM COMING FOR YOU!
Then she started to run.
