And when Jack didn't check up on her, I followed her again.
I also ran into her at the grocery store.
I'm not a stalker.
I take my job as a police officer seriously, and that includes protecting citizens when they don't see the danger.
I just never thought I would be called out in front of her, or require her services after an injury. I also never thought I would fall for her. But the game has No Limit and I'm all in.
Cat gives this book 4 Meows with a 3 purr heat index...
This is book 8 in the good run of bad luck series. You do need to read these in order plus the Cortell Brother series as well… but it’s well worth it.
We meet Tyler in Nathan and Penny’s book and I was glad Giulia decided to further this series including Tyler who was really just a secondary character at one time albeit a hot one.
It was good to learn more about him but I will admit I was slightly disappointed it didn’t go quite as I expected. I kinda had hoped to get more on his and Penny’s closeness but though we did get Penny that wasn’t there. However, we did learn why he has such a protective, I’d even say controlling in a good way nature.
At first I didn’t care for Summer, but she grew on me. The plot, however, was awesome; full of twists, suspense and the usual touch of humor to lighten the story. And we got plenty of other characters such as Jack , Andrew and Lucas which I’m ready for his story. I like how the author brings in characters from the other books enough to make you want more but doesn’t pull so many it’s over why. Plus she adds in just enough backstory to catch you up but not bore you.
If you like small town romance, hot cops, hot Sherifs, Chiropractors, suspense, twists and turns with a touch of humor and just enough heat this is for you.
I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
