Though he’s one of the best and most desired he has his reason he took this turn in life. He knows a life of his own is out of the question, but he is burned out and wanting a break. His best friend Christine talks him into taking one last job that he really doesn’t want since it’s a sister paying for a surprise. And those usually don’t go well.

Felice Stevens develops some of the most unique, realistic, deep, relatable characters.

Whether it’s the antagonist or protagonist they are exceptional. The plot also is intriguing with lots of tension.

The romance is sort of slow burn even though Madden and Archer are together on a business arrangement. That just makes it all better as your mind wonders what will happen, how on earth will they make a happy ever after, watching them grow was so swoon worthy.

I loved this story so much if it goes audio I will be purchasing immediately!
