Hi Y’all! Come in and grab a cold drink while I tell you about this book I just read.  

The title is Hexes and Hijinx by Annie Anderson and it's book 2 and the final one in the Lost Witches series. You do have to read in order as this picks up where the first book ended. 

The cover is sharp and goes well with the title. Then I read the blurb and it really got my interest because... arcane crime families and a war sounds good to me. Plus, I read the first and really need to know how she gets out of this mess. The story is a paranormal romance with some suspense. 

Who’s my favorite main character? Annie. She is very likeable and a strong female lead. 

Was there another character I loved and why? There are so many characters to pick from. Darby is cool. She’s a mix of a lot of things and her sister is Lady Death but I have to choose Ingrid. Who wouldn’t love a child vampire that can kick almost any butt and is on the Arcane council. 

The story has several settings. I loved how this fit in the story as each was better than the last and kept you on your toes. There are so many plot twists, it really keeps you on edge of your seat. There are some sad times to, so have some Kleenex at the ready. 

I loved the ending, it was an HEA and really a perfect ending to the series. 

If you like fated mates, enemies to lovers, great characters, witches, wolves, vampires and more and a great romance you will love this.
