Special Agent Hatch is having a midlife crisis. The guy he's wanted for years - but maybe hadn't wanted after all - is now with another man, and his boss is forcing him to take time off. Vacation is not something Chris indulges in, but when his parents offer him a place to stay, he heads to the desert to sweat out his mandated holiday.

Hell to the no. Ivan's not letting this chance to woo Hatch slip away from him. With personal time of his own, Morrison heads to snowbird territory planning to--okay, so there's no plan but it's do or die time. Woo Hatch or Bust.

The last thing Hatch expects to see parked in front of his parents' mobile home is Morrison's gas guzzler. Although, maybe he shouldn't be surprised. Ivan Morrison is the chaos factor after all.

What neither of them plan on is a septuagenarian motorcycle gang that is definitely up to something. What that is, Hatch and Morrison will have to discover--and maybe each other in the process.

Snowbirds is a novella in the Reclaimed Hearts world. It takes place after Red Flagged and should be read in order.

Cat gives this book 4 meows with 2 purrs heat index...

This was a really cute fast paced but short story.

There are great characters.  Chris's parents are a hoot. They had me rolling.

There is a touch of mystery, and I'll admit I was going for 5 meows but then the mystery didn't really seem to get resolved. It did in a way, but I felt it had a couple of loose ends. 

The romance was good and I liked how Ivan went after what he wanted. This is a fun holiday story.

Broken, broody, mysterious, swoony, inclusive; those are my tropes.

By the time high school rolled around I’d already discovered romantic suspense and gothic romance, and I’ve never looked back. What can I say? My love of mystery and suspense started early and runs deep.

Is there anything better than a character who by the end of the story manages to redeem/heal themselves enough to fall in love? No, there isn’t.

Fast forward to 2017 when, with a shaky finger, I pressed the Publish button for the first time. I’ve never regretted it. I love writing and telling stories that others enjoy, it’s a dream come true.

What else? I love both cats and dogs. Star Wars and Star Trek. Pineapple on pizza, and have a cribbage habit my husband encourages. We live in a log cabin near Hood Canal in Washington State, if the sky is clear at night the milky way is visible. But most often I’m inside devouring yet another book!
