My newest client is America’s darling—ex member of one of the biggest boy bands of our age, and a huge success from his first solo album. Milo isn’t the picture-perfect persona he portrays to his fans. He’s a chaos goblin, and I suspect I was hired to protect him from himself. 

The problem is, his particular brand of chaos sings to my heart. I’m drawn to him, which is a huge problem if I ever knew one. There’s a professional boundary I can’t cross, but how do I resist when the man himself is set on erasing all lines?

I'm going to start with, this is a shared world and each author's fan fiction take on another author's couple in a book called the Canon. I have no idea what this means, have not read the original so I'm not familiar with the couple and I don't read fan fiction. 

So here goes my review. This one is a sweet, slow burn romance with a happy ever after. In this one Rowan is a bodyguard and Milo a music idol. 

Rowan is hired on a trial basis as a bodyguard since Milo's longtime bodyguard is retiring. 

However, Milo wants more than a bodyguard he wants a companion.

Can stoic Rowan drop his guard and be a friend as well as protector.

Things I loved...

The slow burn. 

The characters.

And Milo and Ethel.  Gotta love chaos gremlins. 

Would I read more of these even though same characters but different genres and scenarios?  Yes. Definitely.
