Oh wow! I wasn't sure I was going to like Blue. In the first book he came across as uppity and selfish but color me surprised (pun intended).

This is book 2 in the boxcar boys' series. You can probably read in any order, but you will get better understanding if you read Nimble first.

In this one Wolf is another newbie and loner in town. He has secrets and a reason he keeps to himself. He finds a young man unconscious in the path right before the big storm is due to set in. Blue wakes up not know where he is and only knows his name is Blue. 

The story is a slow burn, sweet ride while Blue recovers and both men that b thought they were better off alone find they might just need each other.

It's another beautifully written story with a couple twists and phenomenal characters. I can't wait to see Star's story next.

If you like ex-cons, forced proximity and small-town romances I highly recommend this.

In her heart, there is peace to be found everywhere, but since in the real world this isn’t always true, Jackie writes for love.
