Brian Donaghue is a millionaire with a multinational company but isn’t lucky in love. When he sees the picture Evan sends in with a resume, he’s immediately interested. But the way ropes Evan into his company is far from conventional. Brian makes Evan an offer he can’t refuse.
Short, Sexy and Steamy... do you know what that is? My three favorite colors! How Ya Like That?
Desperate to find a job that will pay him enough to pay for his mother's care, Evan Foster answers an ad that promises a nice salary. After the odd phone interview, then a whirlwind personal interview, Evan finds himself at his new boss's house where he's about to learn just how personal Brian Donaghue expects his assistant to be. Evan follows Brian's orders and has the strangest yet most sexually satisfying night of his life to date. Something inside Evan he didn't even realize was there is awoken, and he decides he will do whatever his new boss wants if it promises more of the same. Evan is very young, inexperienced and maybe even a little naïve though. When what he thought turns out to be different than the reality of the situation and Evan faces a rejection, he does the only thing he knows how to do, he runs.
This was just a very fast paced, sexy, wild ride. And there is a huge attention to detail to spite the shortness of the story. After talking with the author about the concept for this story, I learned she wrote it around her favorite gay soap opera star, Van Hansis (Luke from As The World Turns). Luke and Noah are one of my favorite on screen couples, so having this information gave this story a new life and made me love it even more. There is an innocence that surrounds Evan and it conveys well to the reader. Brian becomes a teacher of sorts, but he is very tender and loving as well. If you are looking for something hot and quick to spice up your lunch hour, or get you ready for a night of wet dreams before bed, this is the perfect story for you!
Reading, watching movies, and being unable to find exactly the thing she wanted to read have led Iyana to write her own stories, mostly about man-on-man romance that has fascinated her since as early as the Starsky and Hutch era. Teaching and writing English course books during the day, Iyana spends her nights mostly dreaming about love stories between two men who are protective toward each other.
~ DREAM CAST ~
For this post Iyana and I talked about doing a Dream Cast. Once we got to talking she shared with me that her inspiration for Evan and Brian was Luke and Noah from As the World Turns. So here are some pics and a fun video of these characters as the author saw them in her mind. By the way, I have to say I agree with her. Evan is SO Luke!
Evan ~ actor Van Hansis
Brian ~ actor Jake Silberman
Evan and Brian ~ Luke and Noah
That first kiss! Le Sigh!!

ReplyDeleteI adored Luke & Noah...at first - I followed their story on u-tube for a while until it got too whacky as happens in daytime soaps :) Really looking foward to reading this Iyana's new story.
