Our guest of honor this week is Author Tempeste O'Riley
and her Desires Entwined series.
The Desires Entwined series is all about love stories involving unique and sometimes challenged men. Everyone deserves their happy ever after, including this close knit group of friends. For the next week I'll be introducing you to all these amazing guys and their partners and sharing their stories with you, as well as my thoughts on each book in the series. Rhys and Chase might be a little late joining their friends at Pride this year, just as long as they aren't late getting to the church on time.
Rhys Sayer and Chase Manning are fully committed to each other and their relationship. Rhys has always said, if they made gay marriage legal in their state he'd make an honest man out of Chase. As with everything else in their hectic lives though, the day doesn't go without a few speed bumps. Rhys is going stir crazy at the office waiting for Chase's birth certificate to arrive. No certificate, no marriage license. More important than that, the decision whether to legalize gay marriage or not hasn't even been stated yet, so the rush to get the document delivered on time could be a moot point.
I loved this short little story and how it fit so perfectly into the Desires Entwined universe. It is always fun to catch up with characters I've enjoyed reading about and seeing where they are now. This is a fun, fast read but won't make much sense if you haven't read the other stories in the series, so start there if you are new to books.
