This week we are going to take a peak at My Lord's Judgement... Sexy Angels, oh my!
Samael is a centuries old archangel. Falsely accused of misusing his powers, he was banished to earth with no clothes, no money, nothing except a dagger to his name.
Brandon was betrayed by his boyfriend and is running from thugs who are going to kill him, if he doesn't pay them twenty thousand dollars. He has no way to get that kind of money, and doesn't know what to do.
When Samael crashes to earth, nearly landing in Brandon's lap, things get complicated fast, flipping Brandon's life into a chaos that he has never known. Danger and intrigue lurk around every corner, and nothing is what it seems

Do you ever suffer from writer’s block? If so, what do
you do about it?
Yes, I have. I will
talk it out with an author friend. It’s usually because I’ve written myself
into a corner or because I’m not listening to the character. Talking it out,
and listening to their advice, I usually find the issue and the words flow
again. I’m going to start writing more than one story at a time and see if that
helps, also. Several friends of mine do that, while I have a tendency to write
on the same story until it’s done. But I stopped writing Wrong Way more times
than I can count, and wrote on other stories because this book was like pulling
teeth.
What Author’s in the genre do you read?
Oh, goodness. What genre? LGBTQ? I love Mary Calmes.
She never disappoints. I really enjoy Charlie Cochet’s Third series. There are
so many I enjoy that I can’t name them all. It usually depends on my mood or
what my book club is reading at the time, and I still read quite a lot of M/F
books. I go through phases where I’ll read a bunch of historical romance, then
paranormal, then time travel, then MC, etc. I will find books to tamper that
mood and read them until I decide I have a taste for something else. I read
quite a lot of paranormal, both M/M and M/F. They are my favorites. And I’m not
big on angst. I love Amy Lane as a person, probably one of the funniest and
sweetest people I know, but I read very few of her books and I have to be in a
specific mood. She is the queen of tears and I just can’t hang.
What comes first, the plot or characters?
My stories are plot driven. Don’t get me wrong—by the
time the book is finished, I know my characters inside out. Things that are not
written in the book, I will know. I do interviews, where I answer questions
based on what I know about the characters. I describe their good traits and bad
traits. All of this is kept in a notebook. But my stories usually contain
action/adventure, suspense, mystery, crime, other aspects. My favorite thing is
when a reader said they loved the plot twists because they hadn’t guessed it. I
see the book in my head as a movie. So the plot drives the characters.
Describe the perfect writing space.
Hahaha! I don’t have one. I’ve written on my kitchen
table, on my back porch, at my desk, in my living room, and reclining in my
bed. What I do need, though, is quiet. I am not one of those authors who can
write with music. I can’t even use the background tones that are supposed to
help concentration. I am ADD and have to focus completely on what I’m doing or
I would do something like write the lyrics of a song instead of dialogue.
Typically, someone will have to call my name several times to make me hear them
if I’m in the zone.
Gay Romance and Crime
Author, Taylor Law is a northern born, southern girl, with a free spirit.
Taylor has lived in the southern United States most of her life, along with her
huge Italian family. She started writing at a very young age; her first poem at
six, her first song at seven, and stories followed directly after. She hasn’t
stopped since.
She started with Barbie worlds that took
over her room for days on end, standing on the kitchen table and singing
randomness that eventually turned into songs, and making up endings to her
favorite stories. It was no surprise to anyone when she started writing them
all down. The surprise came, however, when she turned to writing LGBTQ romance
and fiction. Now, some of her family regularly read her books and ask for more,
and her books have hit several distributor bestseller lists in their genres,
which is more than she could have ever hoped for.
Taylor has a paralegal degree, but she
also went to college for Music, Theatrical Arts, and Criminal Justice. She
worked as a contract and civil litigation paralegal for fifteen years before
publishing her stories. She loves to learn new things. She also enjoys history,
an eclectic array of music, puzzles, her friends and family, and laughing.
Taylor would much rather read than watch television any day.
A romantic clear to her soul, Taylor
continues to believe the elusive ‘Happily Ever After.’ She lives in Florida
where it rains regularly – yes, the sunshine state is a myth. On any given day,
you can usually catch her with a book in her hand or creating something.
