July Author of the Month here at TTC Books is VL Locey!
This Author has so many titles, I don't know where to start. Nothing says Sex-E like a man with a hockey stick though, so let's start with the Point Shot series...
Book 1 - Two Man Advantage
Book 2 - Game Misconduct
Book 3 - Full Strength
What does Cat have to say about this series...
Two Man Advantage {4 Stars} Amazon
Hockey players have to be rough and tumble, but star Victor Kalinski takes that overboard. He is very snarky and makes waves wherever he goes. He is no holds barred and his coach finally puts him back down to the minor leagues to show they are not putting up with his bull-crap. But instead when he gets there he unleashes his fury on the team. This doesn’t help gain him any friends except for Daniel Arou who doesn’t take Vic’s crap.
I liked this story because Vic is not your regular run of the mill hero. He is a total ass. I love a story that has character growth and though Vic’s personality stays intact grows.
I really loved that Dan is a little person (dwarf). I loved the snark between the two men and the sparks that ignite. The sex between these two men sizzle it’s so hot!
If you like anti-heroes, leading men that aren’t sweet and romantic, men that are flawed, hockey players and sizzling man-sex this is for you!
Game Misconduct {5 Stars} Amazon
Though Victor is not your typical main character, he is arrogant and sarcastic I absolutely love him. In Game Misconduct, he shows another side of himself, and I grew to love him even more. Then there is Dan, his polar opposite. Dan could be a saint or angel he is such a likable, person. The chemistry between the two is unparalleled! You couldn't ask for a better match than these two men. The sex is smokin hot as well so beware there is explicit sexual content and very strong language.
The story is fast-paced, and the plot has several twists and turns. I felt the story also has a very realistic feel and touches on many real life topics such as the difference between gay and bisexuality, coming out, and pregnancy before marriage. I cannot wait for the next book.
Full Strength {5 Stars} Amazon
Full Strength is the third and final book in the point shot trilogy. I suggest if you haven't read the other two you skip this review since this book pick up where the other two left off.
While we await the paternity test results to see if the child Heather is carrying is Victors, we also have Dan and Victor dealing with the media after being outed and Victor being Victor seeking revenge on the scumbag that outed them.
Victor is not the typical male romance heart-throb. Actually, he isn't a heart-throb ( that's more Dan's job). Victor is outspoken, loud, rude, crude and a real jerk to put it mildly. I absolutely love him! That is one thing I love about V. L. Locey's books. Her Characters are not the typical and always very interesting.
Don't let this being a hockey romance throw you off. I am no fan of sports but I love this story. It is easy to read and follow the hockey action, the rest of the story is so intriguing and fun and the story centers around the life of the characters more than the sport itself.
If you like a good romance, Hockey, different characters don't mind a leading man that is a jerk, like baby's, a bit of satire and humor and, of course, some hot man-sex you have to read this series!

V.L. Locey loves worn jeans, belly laughs, yoga, reading and writing lusty tales, walking, Greek mythology, the New York Rangers, comic books, and coffee. (Not necessarily in that order.)
She shares her life with her husband, her daughter, one dog, two cats, two Jersey steers, and a flock of assorted domestic fowl.
When not writing lusty tales, she can be found enjoying her day with her menagerie in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, fresh cup of java in hand.

Q&A with VL Locey Part I
Where are you from, and where do you call home?
I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and call the
Laurel Highlands of the Keystone State home.
What inspired you to start writing?
I started out writing Marvel Universe fan fiction many
years ago. There had always been stories bumping around inside my head, I just
never realized I could write them down and people would want to read them.
How long have you been writing?
I've been writing professionally for
about six years now. Before that, I wrote purely for pleasure.

Alright guys, that's it for this week. Be sure to head back over next week when we spotlight the 'To Love a Wildcat' series with Cat's reviews and Part II of the Author Q&A.
