Owen’s eagerness to win Sebastian back turns to desperation as a tsunami threatens to tear them apart.
The last twelve months have been hard on Owen Hewitt and even tougher on his relationship. For six years, Sebastian Carmichael has been the love of his life, but that love is put to the test as Owen sinks into injury-induced depression.
Living with chronic pain and unable to do the things he used to do makes him feel like a failure, and causes him to believe he’s holding the younger Sebastian back.
When Sebastian takes some time out and leaves to stay at their holiday house, it could spell the end of the relationship. But as a tsunami bears down on the Tasmanian coast, it could spell the end of everything.

Sebastian and Owen have been together for several years. They are very much in love, have a beautiful home and a thriving business. After Owen had been hurt a year or so ago, he is in chronic pain, slipping into depression and worried that his not being able to d the things they used t love and his age being older than Sebastian that he is losing him. When Owen finally decides to go after Sebastian to work out their problems the news of a Tsunami bearing down on their getaway island could end all chances.
Sebastian only wants Owen to be better, but no matter how much he tries to get Owen to go through with the surgery Owen balks, It seems like Owen is pushing him away so he goes to their weekend home on an island to put some space between them and think. Little did he know that a Tsunami was headed his way.
I love stories about other countries. This one is set in Australia one of my favorite countries. Nic Starr did a beautiful job bringing the setting to life with descriptions. I especially liked the trip to the open market. Even the description of the Tsunami and the devastation was breathtaking.
I liked Both Owen and Sebastian, and I could feel their love. I do love a may/December romance and theirs are perfectly sweet. My only issue was it had taken until the end of the book before I found out why Owen had his problems and I would have liked that bit dropped a little sooner. Not knowing affected my understanding of why he was dealing with such pain.
If you like books about natural disasters, second chances, May/December romance, all over tender, sweet romance with a satisfying ending and some tension you will love this one.
I love the All of the Storming Love Series.
Nic Starr lives in Australia where she tries to squeeze as much into her busy life as possible. Balancing the demands of a corporate career with raising a family and writing can be challenging but she wouldn’t give it up for the world.
Always a reader, the lure of m/m romance was strong and she devoured hundreds of wonderful m/m romance books before eventually realising she had some stories of her own that needed to be told!
When not writing or reading, she loves to spend time with her family–an understanding husband and two beautiful daughters–and is often found indulging in her love of cooking and planning her dream home in the country.
You can find Nic on Facebook, Twitter and her blog. She’d love it if you stopped by to say hi.
