Two dominant males, two worthy adversaries, in a business that takes no prisoners will soon learn that fate refuses to be ignored.
My name is Troy Babilonia, but I'm best known as Babu, a renowned literary critic with my own online column. I'm followed by thousands! I'm a living god in the literary world. I have no filter, and for that my flock of humble followers are forever grateful. If it weren't for me, they wouldn't know what to read. I have zero tolerance for weak-minded attention seekers, nor do I have respect for the self-proclaimed geniuses of the indie world. My advice to all indie authors is to never break the cardinal rule in this cutthroat business. Ever.
My name is L. Blackburn, and I'm an indie author. My extraordinary genius was loved and worshiped throughout the literary world until one egocentric critic tried to obliterate my career. It seems I broke some "cardinal rule", and now I'm paying the price for it. But I don't plan on going down without a fight.

"Awesome enemies to lovers"
If you could sum up Black Balled in three words, what would they be?
Fantastic, engaging, sexy
Have you listened to any of Joel Leslie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, very many! I absolutely love Joel Leslie. Every book he does, he does it so uniquely it is hard to compare one performance to the next.I loved the drama he brought to Black Balled. I loved the sexual tension and the voice of each character. He really gave them each so much personality. I couldn't help but love to hate Troy and love him too.
PPS. The end has some deleted scenes, and we get a scene with Muffy the cat's view...this alone is worth listening

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
It had me biting my nails. There were times I laughed, and there were a few twists. The deleted scenes made me happy and gave me quite the chuckle!
Any additional comments?
I absolutely loved Black Balled. I liked the way Troy's chapters began with a review. As a reviewer, I found him a real ass. But I loved that he was a terrible character and loved watching him get his and his redemption. I also liked how the story ended, though I won't say how or why.
I love great characters and both Troy and Larson were very well created. There were some secondary characters like Noel that I hated too. Lol, lots of easy to hate characters!
The story line was exciting and fast paced. I didn't want to quit listening once I started.
I adored the deleted scenes as well. Especially Muffy the cat's view.

Eva LeNoir lives in France with her husband, two sons and the entire food chain in pets: From fish to gerbils to cats and a dog. With a full time job that pays the bills, she reserves all of her free time to doing what she loves most: Writing.
Eva likes teasing her husband that she should have married a billionaire so she could stay home and write all day. But then he makes her laugh at his silly antics and all dreams of lavish lifestyles evaporate from her mind. A softie at heart, Eva can be seen crying whenever anything emotional is on TV or the radio. Yes, even commercials. So, if ever you meet her, make sure to bring a box of tissues and a good episode of Grey's Anatomy to witness the epic tear fest.
There are three things she believes unconditionally: Love really does conquer all, Humans are still inherently good and Wine and Cheese will solve all the problems of the world.

Andrea Smith...I'm a born storyteller, no lie.
And if you're a reader who enjoys twists and turns, non-cookie cutter fiction, some characters to love, and some to hate, then I'm your cuppa. I refuse to be a one-trick pony. It's just too damn boring . . . and predictable. I'm unpredictable as a human being, so it stands to reason my fiction follows suit.
Some of my books are suspense mixed with steamy sex. Some are New Adult romance with steamy scenes, some are fantasy suspense, M/M, M/M/F, YA Suspense, YA/NA Romance Serials that aren't steamy, but make your belly tingle just the same.
My characters: alpha millionaires, virgin coeds, MC bikers, FBI agents, Mafioso, girls from the sticks, girls from privilege. How about ghosts who refuse to cross over? Or the boy next door? I've got them all from college jocks meeting nerdy chicks, to stepfathers and stepdaughters that are wicked or innocent. I've done it all and the best part? You'll feel them, understand them, hurt with them, love or hate them, but they WILL touch you. Each and every one, I promise. Even the twisted preacher and the whore from West Virginia! They will all touch you in some way.
So, go on in. They're all waiting---for YOU!

Thanks for the review. This really sounds great. I'm also intrigued that it's set in the book world, and would love to read how the critic/author enemies-to-lovers thing works out. - Purple Reader,

Thanks for the review. Joel Leslie is a great narrator & I didn't know this one was in audio format.
