Larry and Jenna have it all—a fairy tale romance, a sweet and gassy basset hound dog, and a dream home on the way.
While Jenna charges ahead with her dreams, Larry is plagued by nightmares and doubts about their future.
As Valentine’s Day draws near, and with it, their first anniversary, Jenna plans a big surprise for Larry, a scarred and injured firefighter who is on disability.
When Harley, their hound dog, spoils the surprise, Jenna is shocked at Larry’s reaction.
Will a house full of puppies and kisses be the lucky charm Jenna needs to convince Larry that he can truly have a big and noisy happily-ever-after family?
Valentine Puppies and Kisses is Book #8 of the Have A Hart Romance Series. It can be read standalone, although characters from the previous books appear here in supporting roles. Please note that Larry and Jenna have their initial love story in Book #2, Valentine Hound Dog where we are also introduced to Harley, their basset hound puppy. Their wedding happened in Book #5, Valentine Wedding Hound where they were featured in a reality show.

Jenna and Larry are back. It's nearing their first anniversary. The reality show is staging another party for a follow-up show One Year Later. Jenna is hoping to make a big announcement. All of her family except Dale and Nessa have babies and she was sure she would be pregnant by now but so far no matter what she does the results are negative. She is overwhelmed with all the stress of the party, a new line, a fashion show and trying to get pregnant. Larry is feeling the stress too. after the wildfire, he has been on leave at work, in therapy, and stressing over making Jenna happy. Now he has doubts about himself, his marriage and having children. His one saving grace is Harley. I love Larry. Even though he isn't really a Hart he is one of my favorites in this series. I guess I have a thing for wounded heroes and less than perfect men. Jenna has never been a favorite of mine though. In this book, my Hart ( pun intended) goes out to her. We get lots of all of the other Harts and a new character Clare that in fell in love with. There is a lot going on in this book and we get both Larry and Jenna's side. There are some sad parts and some happy tears as well so grab a few tissues. If you like damaged men, wounded heroes, second chances, crazy characters, Holiday stories, babies, puppies, and a very sweet romance you will love this. I do suggest you read Valentine Hound and Valentine Wedding Hound first.
