Celebrating the end-of-year holidays doesn't always mean sleighs, snow, and snuggling to ward off the cold. How about making merry when it's just as warm (or hot) outside as inside romantic hearts? Twinkle lights in palm trees, unity cups on the sideboard, bonfires in the backyard, eggnog by the pool, and no chimneys to be found... just the warmest wishes of the holidays bringing lovers together around the world.
A huge part of the world celebrates end-of-the-year holidays that aren't anything like Bing Crosby's "White Christmas." In the southern hemisphere, it's not even winter!
Holiday reading fun! More than 400,000 words of romantic fiction in 31 stories that would sell individually for a total of $89.69.

When Shane suggests the two of them head to a secluded beach to cool off, the growing intimacy between them might make both reassess their current situation.

Cat gives this one 4 meows...
Shane isn't looking forward to Mattie's boxing day party. Every since his divorce, the guys just seem to pity him and not treat him the same so he decides to go grab some food, make and appearance and slip out.
Mattie's cousin Neil is visiting on the heels of a bad breakup and not happy to be there. But then he meets Shane and they sneak off to the beach.
I have to admit when i read this title I had an entirely different idea of what the story might be. Like a kid with Barbie dolls or something involved. I was pleasantly surprised with the Australian setting, the language and the two very different men. It was a very entertaining holiday story.
Asta Idonea (aka Nicki J Markus) was born in England but now lives in Adelaide, South Australia. She has loved both reading and writing from a young age and is also a keen linguist, having studied several foreign languages.
Asta launched her writing career in 2011 and divides her efforts not only between MM and mainstream works but also between traditional and indie publishing. Her works span the genres, from paranormal to historical and from contemporary to fantasy. It just depends what story and which characters spring into her mind!
As a day job, Asta works as a freelance editor and proofreader, and in her spare time she enjoys music, theater, cinema, photography, and sketching. She also loves history, folklore and mythology, pen-palling, and travel, all of which have provided plenty of inspiration for her writing. She is never found too far from her much-loved library/music room.
