As they work together,
Martin becomes more determined than ever to show Scarborough he’s someone he
can trust… maybe someone he can love. Even if it risks their friendship, both
men know the possibility for more between them deserves to be explored. But
when Scarborough’s past reemerges, it threatens his home, horses, career, and even
their lives. If they hope to survive the road before them, they’ll have to walk
it together… and maybe make the leap from cautious friends to lovers along the
way.
Cat gives this one 5 Meows with a 2 Purr heat
index...
Isn't this cover just the
hottest? I think it sets a good tone for the book. I loved the friendship between Scarborough and
Martin and that the story didn't start out insta love or something on that
level. It was two men both lonely but respect for each other. I liked the slow
build to the sexual part and that it wasn't all on the page but still enough we
get the gist and sensuality of their newfound relationship.
There is a few things
going on in the book where they try to figure out where the black horse came
from and why he sold so cheap at the auction and is so skittish. Then another
issue arises as someone keeps sneaking on Skarboroughs farm and there is an
issue with Scarborough's dad. So you get several ingredients that blend
smoothly into a delicious romance.
If you like friends to
lovers, ranchers, and a good ole sexy romance you should love this one.
