Charley isn’t happy about
having to come back and help her sister take care of her dad after he injures himself
but Her sister is a nurse and her work
is portable so she can work from her computer anywhere. She is disappointed she
is missing Christmas with her friends on a skiing trip.
She goes out one day to
her old haunts and stops in Bangers the bar she worked in while in college and
talked to Dawn her old boss. Dawn was in desperate need of a head waitress, so
Charlie took the job to give her a bit of time away from her dad. The Bartender
is gorgeous, but he seems to hate her.
I loved both Charlie and River, especially River but who wouldn’t. He is hot, sweet, and did I say hot?
The storyline is good. There
a couple plots, Charley and her family, River and his, why Charlie and River
seem to have issues then there is town issue with the city beautification
trying to run out the old shops and businesses and replacing them with high
end.
The book is charming, fun, and sexy and keeps you reading from the beginning. It is a great holiday story for anytime of the year and I am ready for the next Banger’s book.
Ever since her first kiss,
Sadira's been spinning steamy tales in her head. But it wasn't until 2017 that
she tried her hand at writing one. Now she's a happy citizen of Romancelandia,
penning contemporary romance and cozy mysteries from her home in Washington
State. When not writing, which is seldom, she explores the Pacific Northwest
with her charming husband, enjoys the local music scene, belly dances, plays
guitar badly, and gobbles all the books.
