I live my life by a certain standard. There are right and wrong ways to do things, and I always make sure that I'm on the right side. My brothers call me a wet blanket. They say I'm buttoned-up, boring, and that I don't know how to let loose. There's a reason I'm that way, and she just walked through my door. With one wild night, I've thrown all my moral guidelines out the window. Now I'm stuck with her and there's no possible way this could work between us. We're complete opposites in every way, but damn she's sexy. Not that it matters. There will never be more between us. One of us will end up killing the other first.

After a long shift in the cancer ward at the children's hospital, I just want to let loose. My friend set me up on a date, and I gladly took it to let off some steam. I've got a fun outfit and I'm ready to let loose. But my one night of fun was spoiled the minute he walked through that door. I was just looking for a good time, and I got him instead. He's good-looking, but that's about all that he has going for him. He's not at all my type, and now he seems to think that I'm some loose whore. It was one night! But I'm stuck with him, so I have to find a way to make this work. If I don't figure out a way to make the man loosen up, I'll go insane.
Cat gives this one 5 meows and 3 purrs...
This is a very different book with unique characters and does reflect real life emotions well.
Eric is very straight laced and does everything in order. He is the oldest of 7 boys. His parents moved leaving the farm house to him to look after 4 of his brothers 2 of which still live with him. He doesn’t drink and never does one night stands because he wants to get his business going first, his house fixed up, then meet, date, marry and have a family in that order. Eric’s brother sets him up on a blind date and begs him to go so her friend will go out with him. He decides to go meet the girl and make a short evening
Katherine is a new nurse in town and works in the children’s cancer ward of the hospital. She loves excitement, is an adrenaline junkie, likes to live life to the fullest. She has no plans for marriage or a family of her own. Katherine’s friend sets her up on a blind date
Saying he is perfect for her.Katherine talks him into playing a drinking game they get wasted and end up At Eric’s.both so drunk they don’t remember the night before.
I’ve don’t think I’ve ever read a better opposites attract than this. These two characters couldn’t be more different. They had absolutely nothing in common. I loved all of the characters and with 4 brothers in town and one of them setting Eric up with an office manager that was also a blast there was a lot going on an plenty of humor which is good because there is a big twist that makes this an ugly cry. ( don’t worry there is a HEA)
Can’t wait for the next book!
If you like Millennials, straight laced sexy men, nurses, construction workers, an ugly cry, some hot sex this is for you.

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
