This is a good fantasy and has a renaissance feel. There are kings, knights, gods, goddesses, dwarves, elves, and the cutest mischievous pixie (she might've been my favorite character). 

It's slow burn and though there is some heat it has a sweetness befitting the characters. The plot is suspenseful as they journey to find a dark mage putting a stone curse on villages. 

So, for me loving a high fantasy it has to be extra good. This fits the bill.
