If you love cowboys and books (and cats and roosters) half as much as I do, then I suggest you ride into this world. 

I loved all the characters. They are quirky but so relatable.

I love the bit of humor but the depth of the story.

Not only is this a romance but it deals with relationships between parents and siblings.

Warning the relationship between father son was both physically and emotionally abusive, homophobic and also deals with brain injury. It is off page but mentioned in a conversation...so if these are triggers read carefully or skip. 

Oh, did I mention the rooster, cat and horse? They try to steal the story.

The story is sweet, very romantic, witty, charming with a little angst but plenty heat to make up for it. 

I highly recommend and can't wait to get into more of these stories.
